NYJ name their Starting QB?
New York Jets owner ghernandez14 announced Saturday that Geno Smith would be the team's Week 1 starter, making official what had long been obvious. Smith was solid in the opening season OTAs. Michael Vick also played well in limited action with the second teams offense, but he never truly had a chance in the competition. To add insult to injury, New York seems to be working out some deals with numerous teams in getting something out of nothing for Michael Vick in a trade. Find out where Vick might be traded here.
"(Geno) has done everything that we have asked," Head Coach Ryan said. "And again this is no slight to Mike Vick. Because believe me like I said, I wanted to come out of this knowing that we have two really good quarterbacks and we think we can win games with. And in my heart I feel that we have two that we can win with."
